About me

Some people were born to create amazing works of art. Others, to design incredible architecture. And still others, to bring listeners pleasure via their musical talents. 

While I can't boast of any of those abilities,  I've had a lifelong love affair with words, and delight in using them in ways that make people think. To get them to feel, or to act. Sometimes to make them laugh, other times, to pull at their heartstrings. And always, hopefully, to foster a feeling of connectedness... of sharing something real. 

I've been a "word nerd" nearly my whole life--reading since age 3, and writing from age 5. (Not that my writing back then would've impressed anyone but my parents or teachers, but hey--everyone has to start somewhere, right?)

I also understand the realities of business, with an entrepreneurial background that began back in college. (Being able to straddle that line, between consumer/user and company/business? Enables me to get your message across way more effectively.)

Finally, I just "get" people. Always an active listener, I listen empathetically, "hearing" the unspoken thoughts as well as those that are spoken, and anticipating questions or concerns.  Making others feel comfortable and safe is my thing. (Typical Pisces, here...)
